Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated National Bookmobile Day with their very own homemade bookmobile going door to door. A special thank you to Jim Hartsell for donating books he’s written based out of the Appalachian region.
There are no shortages for the way staff at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center are caring for the residents. Thank you for your hard work and dedication for others. You are greatly appreciated.
With the Easter bunny dubbed an essential employee by the Governor, it hopped up and down the halls handing out eggs to all residents and staff at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center. Everyone at the facility enjoyed seeing the bunny and brought many laughs watching it hop around.
Thank you SO MUCH, Suzie Barton Razmus, for the visit with Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center’s residents and reminding them they aren’t alone. There may be physical distance between everyone (temporarily), but they have never been “closer”. The facility has truly become a home and family.
Staff and a few residents at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center participated in Crazy Hair Day. There were definitely some crazy and creative hairstyles walking through the halls. Residents also participated in Canvas Coloring for their daily activity.
A hero can come in all shapes and sizes. Staff and residents at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center had a “Superhero” theme day at the facility. From the super human strength of Superman, the secretiveness of Batman, to the actual residents and families separated by the current situation. Wherever your cape hang, you are appreciated.
During social distancing, some entertainment the residents at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center participate in is wall art. Residents come up one at a time and on opposite ends to paint a section of the masterpiece. They also came into the dining room to play some wii bowling, sanitizing the remote after each person.
Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center wanted the community to know that heroes work at the facility keeping the residents safe. Thank you to all who come in each and every day to make sure the residents have entertainment, food, and a clean facility to live in.
BINGO! Not the normal Bingo setup, but residents at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center still need their Bingo. Staff set up in the hall so residents can keep their social distance and enjoy one of their favorite games.
