This week is Skilled Nursing Care Week and what better time to celebrate those who put the vulnerable above themselves. Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center started their celebration with a mobile cupcake decorating station and cupcakes for both shifts.
Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated Mother’s Day with all the mamas (residents and staff) at the facility. There were lots of flowers and cards given out to celebrate the wonderful women in everyone’s lives.
Thank you to Administrator Chad Hill for writing ‘Hero’ cards to every nurse at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center. He also made them delicious home baked cookies.
Thank you University of the Cumberlands School of Nursing for the amazing sign. Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center also wishes the Nursing Students an happy Nurses Week and thank you for choosing a selfless career to care for those in need.

The Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center Crew had a blast with the ‘Yoda-Rita’ deliveries and the Social Distance Lightsaber battle with Therapy. Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the love for Star Wars on May 4th.
Although the Kentucky Derby has been moved to September, staff and residents still celebrated the greatest two minutes in sports. Everyone wore elaborate hats and enjoyed stick horse races.
Thank you to Bluegrass Care Navigators for bringing lunch for the crew at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center. The staff enjoys working along side this organization to provide the highest quality care for the residents.
Residents and staff at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center had some fun celebrating National Superhero Day. People wore caps, masks, and held up “boom” and “bam” signs for creative pictures. I great distraction with lots of laughs.
With a rainy day, staff at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center knew how to turn it around. They spent the day grilling out hot dogs for the night crew. Thanks for everything you do for the residents and holding the fort down over night. You are very much appreciated.
